Since 2013, Svensk Sportfiskehandel has been an important partner in Sportfiskarna’s major school initiative, Klassdraget. Through both practical and financial support for the purchase of angling and ice fishing equipment, the association has helped make it possible for more than 100,000 Swedish schoolchildren to experience fishing and outdoor life during school hours, together with the federation’s fishing clubs. Just as many children have been able to keep their fishing gear after the activities. This is a truly unique result. Klassdraget is, without comparison, the largest association-led outdoor project in Swedish schools in decades.
