Lost fishing gear is considered the most harmful type of marine litter to wildlife, as it continues to catch fish and shellfish long after being abandoned. It also poses problems above the surface, particularly for birdlife. To address this environmental issue, we have now established Fiskekretsen. This initiative targets both commercial and subsistence fishing.
